Usage:
NOTE: Rubber tonic seals and all surfaces in contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly.
(1) Torque for bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
(2) Torque for studs ... 65 ± 10 N·m (48 ± 7 lb ft)
(3) Torque for bolts ... 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft)
(4) Torque for bolts ... 135 ± 20 N·m (100 ± 15 lb ft)
(5) Thickness of thirteen new discs, twelve new plates and one new damper assembly ... 101.856 ± 2.708 mm (4.0101 ± .1066 in)
Thickness of one new 9W-7018 Disc ... 5.08 ± 0.13 mm (.200 ± .005 in)
Thickness of one new 7D-7504 Plate ... 2.413 ± .064 mm (.0950 ± .0025 in)
Thickness of one new 5D-6328 Damper Assembly ... 6.86 ± .25 mm (.270 ± .010 in)
(6) Torque for bolts ... 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft)
(7) Torque for three studs ... 110 ± 20 N·m (80 ± 15 lb ft)
(8) Torque for three nuts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
NOTE: Tighten nuts (8) one turn at a time to pull housing down evenly. After all nuts are tight, tighten to final torque in a criss-cross pattern.
