Usage:
1. Position transmission jack to support belly guard (2) as shown. Remove bolts (1) and remove belly guard (2).
2. Position transmission jack to support belly guard (4) as shown. Remove bolts (3) and remove belly guard (4).
3. Remove eight bolts (7) and four straps (8).
4. Push yoke (5) into the differential for clearance and remove rear universal drive shaft (6).
5. Remove four bolts (10) and two straps (9) from each end of front slip drive shaft (11).
6. Compress front slip drive shaft (11) together and remove the front slip drive shaft.
7. Remove four bolts (15) and two straps (16) from drive shaft (12).
8. Remove two bolts (14) holding bearing assembly (13) on the frame.
9. Remove drive shaft (12) and bearing assembly (13).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the drive shaft group.
NOTE: Install by reversing the steps of the removal using the following specifications.
10. Torque twenty bolts (1) to 60 ± 10 N·m (44 ± 7 lb ft).
11. Torque for one bolt (2) to 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).
12. Tighten set screw to bottom of keyway. Loosen one-half turn and tighten locknut to a torque of 24 ± 4 N·m (18 ± 3 lb ft).
