PROBLEM
New engine labels need to applied on certain 3456 Generator Sets. These engines were shipped with the wrong engine information label. The customer needs to apply the new label over the existing label currently on the engine.AFFECTED PRODUCT

Clean the existing label clean. Peel the attached backing from the label and apply over the label currently on the engine.OWNER NOTIFICATION

Dear Caterpillar Product Owner:
New engine labels need to installed on certain 3456 Generator Sets. These engines were shipped with the wrong engine information label. Please clean the area and apply the enclosed new label(s) over the existing label currently on the engine. Apply the protective clear plastic film over the new label. The new label(s) needs to be installed on the products listed below.
If you are unable or unwilling to perform the service, contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated May 10, 2004 when scheduling this service. You will not be charged for the service performed.
