PROBLEM
The connecting rod bearing on high compression ratio G3612 and G3616 engines may fail at less than 1/2 of their expected life. This service letter authorizes the replacement of connecting rod bearings on those engines that are susceptible to the failure after 20,000 hours of operation have elapsed on the part.AFFECTED PRODUCT
