CAT REMAN ADDING CYLINDER HEAD KITS
FOR 3126B, C7, C10/C12 APPLICATIONS
Announcement
Similar to the 3406E and C-15 head kits released previously, Cat Reman has recently changed the Reman and UTN cylinder head offerings for 3126B, C7, and C10/C12 applications to include new or remanufactured valve bridges.
Reuse of valve bridges that are not the current engineering change level or are damaged or worn can cause interference between the valve bridge and rotocoil which may cause a dropped valve. Therefore, cylinder head kits have been released that include new or remanufactured valve bridges to insure cylinder head reliability.
By including these bridges with the cylinder head, the customer is insured there is no valve wear and the bridges have the correct hole depth. Also, the service technician does not have to inspect bridges for reuse; reducing the total cost of repair.
Core Acceptance
The valve bridge core is required to be returned with the cylinder head core. Add charges will be applied when bridges are not returned. See Core Acceptance Guidelines SELD0287 (LACD and NACD) and SELD0018 (All other MPCs) for complete core acceptance details.
Warranty
Please consult the appropriate warranty statement for your area.
