267, 277, 287 MTL ?B SERIES? UNDERCARRIAGE UPGRADE KITS

Caterpillar announces the availability to three ?B Series? undercarriage upgrade kits.  The kits are designed to meet the needs of customers and Caterpillar dealers regarding replacement of A, B, and B Series 267, 277, 287 undercarriages. The kits are to be used to completely replace existing undercarriages when an undercarriage rebuild is needed.  The kits will upgrade existing A and B Series 267 277 and 287 models with the current production B Series undercarriage technology.

Upgraded Components in the B Series Undercarriage

?        Heavy Duty Dual Face seals in all bogie and idler wheels

?        Replaceable bogie and idlers wheel groups

?        Out board sprocket bearing and seal

Upgraded Features in the B Series Undercarriage

?      Increased Serviceability: Replaceable wheels groups, no special tools required for removing the track.

?        Reduced Owning and Operating Cost: Heavy Duty Dual Face seals and lower cost wheel replacement.

Upgrade Kits Available

 The availability of these three kit options will enable customer or dealers to upgrade existing machines to enhance performance, trade in value and reduce owning and operating cost.

287B Kit One:  (Part Number 305-9256) Includes Rubber Track, Bogie & Wheel Groups, Idler & Wheel Groups, Sprocket Bearing Group, Sprocket sleeves (inner and outer) and hardware.  For installation/assembly instructions, refer to Special Instruction Media No. REHS4011.

267/277B Kit One:  (Part Number 305-9254) Includes Rubber Track, Idler & Wheel Groups, Sprocket Bearing Group, Sprocket Sleeves (inner and outer) and hardware.  For installation/assembly instructions, refer to Special Instruction Media No. REHS4010.

267/277B Kit Two:  (Part Number 305-9253) Includes Bogie & Wheel Groups.  For installation/assembly instructions, refer to Special Instruction Media No. REHS4009
