PL61 PIPELAYER UNDERCARRIAGE INTRODUCTION
Caterpillar recently introduced the new PL61 Pipelayer. The new machine offering replaces the popular elevated sprocket 561N Pipelayer configurations. The PL61 XL/LGP is equipped with SystemOne? undercarriage (7.50? / 190.5 mm Pitch) as well as sprocketed idlers, which provide better track guiding and reduced noise levels. This Information Release Memo is intended as a quick reference guide for all serviceable moving undercarriage components offered on these machine configurations.
