Usage:
NOTE: Removal and installation of the electric starting motor can be performed with the engine in chassis. Access can be made from under the machine. In the procedure which follows, the engine was removed from chassis for better photo illustration of the electric starting motor.
1. Put identification marks on all electrical wires as to their location on the electric starting motor. Disconnect wiring harnesses (3) and (4) from the electric starting motor.
2. The weight of the electric starting motor is approximately 11.34 kg (25 lb). Remove three bolts (1) and the washers that hold the electric starting motor to the flywheel housing. Remove electric starting motor (2).
NOTE: Install the electric starting motor in the reverse order of removal.
