An Engine Commissioning and Diagnostic Kit has been developed to provide the accurate and reliable tooling and equipment necessary to accomplish thorough and professional commissioning and diagnostic procedures.

Most commissioning and troubleshooting for these engines will occur at locations remote to dealer or other industrial facilities. The kit's purpose to provide the commissioning engineer or service technician with the essential tools and equipment in a single, compact, and easily transportable package.

The kit is intended to be assembled by the Caterpillar dealer. The following list is the suggested components for the kit. The items on the list are divided into functional areas. The kit can be customized for the special needs of the individual dealer service organizations or special markets and installations that are served.
