New "On Engine" Adjustment Procedure For 3161 Woodward Governor
Usage:
3500 Family Of Engines
Special Instruction, SEHS9240, "Installation And Adjustment Of 3161 Governors On 3500 Engines," provides a new "on engine" adjustment procedure. This Special Instruction also includes:
Procedures for installation, synchronization, Fuel Air Ratio Control check, and adjustment;
Torque rise schedule check and adjustment;
Altitude deration.
The new adjustment procedure calls for the use of the new 4C6100 Governor Control Group. This new tool will allow accurate control of the torque applied to the terminal and speeder shafts of the governor during the "on engine" adjustments.
