LEVELING BLADE Caterpillar

Operation

Usage:

A. The pump draws fluid from the hydraulic tank and sends it to the blade control valve.
B. Depending on how the operator sets the control valve handle, the valve sends fluid to the rod ends of the cylinders to lower the blade, to the head ends to raise the blade, or passes new fluid through while retaining fluid in the cylinders in place to hold the blade in a set position.
C. Fluid leaving the cylinders when they extend or retract returns to the control valve.
D. Fluid then leaves the control valve and returns to the hydraulic tank either via a separate line or in combination with return fluid from the steering system.
