Description of Change: A dual element air cleaner group is available as an attachment for the above engines. The dual element air cleaner offers better protection in dusty conditions than standard single element air cleaners. The use of a dual element air cleaner will not change the outward appearance or the external dimensions of an engine.
The dual element air cleaner can be retrofitted to any 3500 Series Engine equipped with a canister-type air cleaner.
Adaptable To: The 5N7822 Air Cleaner Group can directly replace the single element 8N3378 Air Cleaner Group. To replace the single element 8N3378 Air Cleaner Group with the dual element 5N7822 Air Cleaner Group on all 3508, 3512, and 3516 Engines, use the parts listed in the chart.
