Description Of Change: The improved thermostat housing has thicker wall's to prevent cracking and coolant leakage.
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the engines with the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.
The improved 383-3611 Housing is a direct replacement for the existing part. Prior to installation, verify that adjoining parts are mated and aligned properly.
Note: Refer to the updated 3500 Cooling Systems - Application and Installation Guidelines to ensure proper connections to the thermostat housing.
Note: Replace the part with the new updated part, change level 01. The change level is cast into the part.
