New Requirements are Now Available for Retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Dosing Cabinets {108H, 1091}

Usage:

- ES7
Retrofit Aftertreatment:
SCR (S/N: ES71-UP)

Introduction

Installation requirements for retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) dosing cabinets have been updated in order to emphasize the environmental capabilities. The instructions below are effective with ES700001 and include the retrofit SCR systems listed above.

When the dosing cabinet is installed outdoors, water may travel down through the tube wire bundle (TWB) into the cabinet to the components. Having the dosing cabinet outdoors may cause problems to electrical components inside the cabinet.

Installation of the Dosing Cabinet

Choose a location for the dosing cabinet that has easy access and is close to the engine and SCR reactor. The cabinet must be mounted inside an environment suitable for electronics to prevent premature failure.

Future release of the Application and Installation (A&I) manual will include this information and additional important installation requirements.
