发动机的意外启动会对在设备上工作的人员造成伤害或死亡。 为避免发动机意外启动，将蓄电池负极（-）端子上的蓄电池电缆拆下。 将所有拆下的蓄电池电缆末端的金属表面用胶布完全粘住，以防止其与其它的金属表面接触而激活发动机的电子系统。 在启动/停止开关的位置上放置“不要操作”的标签，以通知他人该设备正在维修之中。 |
- 切断压缩空气的供应。 净化空气管和空气起动马达中排出的加压空气。
- 拆下螺栓 (1) 和垫圈。 断开软管组件 (2) 。

- 将适当的起吊设备固定在空气起动马达 (5) 上。 拆下将空气起动马达 (5) 固定到飞轮壳上的螺栓 (4) 和隔套 (3) 。 拆卸空气起动马达 (5) 。 空气起动马达 (5) 的重量约为 144 kg (317 lb)。
