Tombol "START" dapat dikonfigurasi ke posisi TERKUNCI atau TAHAN. Nilai untuk tombol "START" dan nilai untuk tombol "STOP" selalu sesuai.
Nyalakan engine dengan salah satu dari dua metode berikut:
- Jika tombol "START" dikonfigurasi ke posisi TERKUNCI, lakukan urutan penyalaan engine berikut: tekan tombol "START", perhatikan dialog konfirmasi dan tekan "YES" (Ya). Unit kontrol akan menyelesaikan urutan penstarteran.
- Jika tombol "START" dikonfigurasi ke posisi TAHAN, tekan dan tahan tombol "START" hingga engine menyala.
