The material of the spring retainers of the stem in the medium pressure circuit control valves has been changed to a new material. The new material increases the durability of the spring retainer.

The 285-1531 Control Valve Gp and the 285-1745 Bank Valve have been improved with the new spring retainer using the same part number. The improvements were effective since 1April 2012. The improved valve can be identified by the date code shown on the label. Refer to Illustration 2 for the location and detailed information regarding the label.
