Reman cylinder heads for certain Reman 3406 engines have been improved for reliability, durability, and part number selection simplification.

• All 40 mm (1.6 inch) Direct Injection (DI) adapter heads with single springs have been discontinued.

• These heads now have dual valve springs.

• The dual spring heads are compatible with all earlier valve train designs.

• All 55 mm (2.2 inch) DI adapter heads will now use the higher strength casting.

• Reman factory gauging of guide and insert bores has been improved.

• Reman factory assembly aids and inspection have been improved.
