Description of Change: A new design Generator Main Stator and Fan are now used in the machine that is mentioned above. The new fan design increases the cooling capacity. The new main stator design reduces the thermal losses. This main stator and fan design improvements help to reduce the generator temperature rise.
Adaptable To: The replacement part numbers for the former part numbers are given in Table 1.

If new main stator and fan are retrofitted on an already built generator, a 0.5 inch diameter hole needs to be drilled in existing bearing adapter bracket to accommodate routing of RTD wires from stator to terminal locations outside of generator. Refer to Illustration 1.
The new 386-1358 Main Stator Gp and 386-1354 Fan are adaptable to the serial number that is listed in Table 2. The new 386-1358 Main Stator Gp and 386-1354 Fan are effective with the serial number that is listed in Table 2.
