Introduction

This Special Instruction contains information and procedures for the installation of a new connector with a filter. The connector is added to the P port of each valve of all 300D Series Excavators. The mounting arrangement of the new connector with filter is shown by valve group. Exchange 121-1491 Solenoid Valve Gp and 111-9916 Solenoid Valve Gp of the failure occurred components before adding the filter.

171-0188 Solenoid Valve Gp

Add the new connector with filter to the P port of the valve group. Refer to Table 1 for the new part numbers and former part numbers

Refer to 1E0279 for tightening torque of the connector with filter.

Remove the old connector (1) of P port of the valve group. Install a new connector with filter corresponding to an old connector. Exchange seals at the same time. Refer to Illustration 1 and Table 1.

Add the new connector with filter to the P port of the valve group. Refer to Table 2

Refer to 1E0279 for tightening torque of the connector with filter.
