Introduction
The 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) enables the UPS environment to be monitored by taking regular measurements of temperature and humidity. The connection of the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) to the Network Management card enables monitoring or the notification of alarms via a network connection.
Install the Network Management card before connecting the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) .
Installation Procedure

Attach Velcro (loop end) to the bottom side of the case of the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT). Reference Illustration 1.

Connect the case of the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) to the Network Management card. Attach adapter DB9/RJ45 to the "Card Settings" connector of the Network Management card. Reference Illustration 2.
Connect cable to DB9/RJ45 adapter on the "Card Settings" port of the Network Management card. Reference Illustration 2. When more than 3 m (10 ft) of cable is required, do not exceed a length of 20 m (66 ft). When you replace a cable, use a CAT5/RJ45 cable.
Connect the opposite end of the cable to the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) .
Attach Velcro (hook end) to a location that the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) will be mounted. Attach the case of the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) to the Velcro.
Reset the Network Management card by using the push button that is located on the front face of the card.
After a 15 second delay, check for a flashing green indicator lamp that is located on the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) .
Configuration
Connect to the Network Management card to an internet browser. http://@IP/ (example: http://172.17.23.21/)

Click on the "Status" section in the "Environment" menu. Ensure that the temperature, humidity and information for contact is displayed. Reference illustration 3.
Click on the "Configuration" section in order to configure the operational conditions of the 350-9728 Sensor Module (ENVIRONMENT) .
