Engine Oil Filter Base - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install O-ring seals (3), engine oil filter base (5), bolts (12), and bolts (4) .

- Install the O-ring seal, adapter (10), and bolts (11) on engine oil filter base (5). Install the O-ring seals and connect hose assemblies (9). Install flanges (7) and bolts (8) .
- Install base assembly (2), the bracket, and bolts (1) .
- Install engine oil filter (6). Follow the directions on the engine oil filter for the correct installation procedure. Do not overtighten the engine oil filter.
- Fill the lubrication system with engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the lubrication system capacity of the engine.
End By: Install the engine oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Install".
