- Remove the engine oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Remove".

- Use Tooling (A) to remove engine oil filter (6) .

- Remove bolts (1), the bracket, and base assembly (2) .
- Remove bolts (8) and flanges (7). Disconnect hose assemblies (9) and remove the O-ring seals. Remove bolts (11), adapter (10), and the O-ring seal from engine oil filter base (5) .
- Remove bolts (4), bolts (12), engine oil filter base (5), and O-ring seals (3) .
