Note: Apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of the eight bolts that are used to mount the turbocharger.
(2) Torque for eight locknuts ...
Use the following procedure to tighten the compressor clamp assembly and the turbine clamp assembly for the turbocharger group (1):
- Tighten the clamp assemblies to
14 ± 1 N·m (125 ± 9 lb in) . - Lightly tap around the clamp assemblies with a soft faced hammer.
- Again tighten the clamp assemblies to
14 ± 1 N·m (125 ± 9 lb in) .
