Removal Procedure

Note: If the manual operation of the hood actuator is required prior to removing or installing, refer to SEBU09054, "Hood Title, Manual Operation"

1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position prior to removing or installing the hood actuators.

2. Open access panel (1).

3. Disconnect harness assembly (2).

4. Remove lock pin (3) and pin (4).

5. Remove bolts (5) and plate (6).
   Show/hide table

6. Remove lock pin (7) and pin (8).
   Show/hide table

7. Remove hood tilt actuator (9).

8. Repeat for the opposite side if necessary.

Installation Procedure

1. Install hood tilt actuator (9) in the reverse order of removal.

2. Cycle machine power OFF and ON.

3. Wait 2 to 3 seconds after cycling machine power to use the hood toggle switch.

4. Cycle the hood fully open and fully closed to test actuator for proper operation.
