The creeper control (1) allows speed control from a stand still up to the full speed of speed range one ( 10 km/h (6 mph)). Turn the creeper control (1) clockwise to obtain maximum speed for a given engine rpm. Turn the creeper control (1) counterclockwise to reduce travel speed without reducing engine rpm. Turning the dial counterclockwise will cause the ECM to send a signal to the hydrostatic pump to reduce flow. The reduction in demand on the hydrostatic system will allow the machine transfer more power to the hydraulic system. The creeper control will only work in speed 1 in the low speed range.
Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, M0064226, "910M, 914M, 918M, 910K, 914K, and 920K Compact Wheel Loaders", "Operator Controls".
Note: Three speed ranges are available SR1, SR2, and SRH. SR1 and SR2 are available by selecting "LOW" on the switch (2).
