Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Note: Apply oil to all the bearings before assembly.
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install bearing (38) in pump drive gear (40).

Illustration 3 g06236496 - Place the press supports underneath the inner race of bearing (38) to prevent damage to bearing (38)
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install stator carrier (37) into bearing (38).
Note: Before Installing stator carrier (37), ensure that Tooling (D) has retained seal (39) evenly in the seal groove. If seal (39) protrudes from the seal groove, damage may occur when stator carrier (37) is installed.
