An improved fan debris guard is now available for certain D11T Track-Type Tractors. The improved 435-9344 Protection Screen Gp is available as an attachment for new D11T Track-Type Tractors. The improved guard is installed at the factory, or can be purchased for previous (S/N: AMA; JEL) D11T Track-Type Tractors.
The improved fan debris guard can significantly extend cooling system component life and help lower maintenance cost. A screen will go on the front of each radiator grill door, reducing debris ingestion during fan reversal and/or rear blade spill over. This guard is recommended for reversing fan and coal stockpile applications, where fan and radiator cores are susceptible to damage from small debris and plugging. This guard will safeguard cooling performance by protecting the fan tips, fan motor, and radiator cores.
Existing (S/N: AMA; JEL) D11T Track-Type Tractors need to order the parts in the Table below for this update.
