Following the recommendations of the Operation and Maintenance Manual will allow the injectors to achieve a full service life. The recommended replacement of the injectors is at the top end overhaul. Follow the recommendations of the OMM in order to maintain the engine's full performance capability.

Use clean fuel and the proper fuel filter in order to increase the life of fuel injectors. Refer to the following publications:

Note: Poor fuel quality is the major factor in reducing the service life of injectors. Use fuel that meets the recommendations of the engine's OMM.
