Diesel Particulate Filter Monitor System Caterpillar

This manual will provide information on diagnostic monitoring and the data logging for the Diesel Particulate Filter Monitor System. The system records levels of exhaust back pressure. The system will monitor levels of exhaust back pressures. The system monitors the exhaust temperature that is exiting the filter. The data is recorded to permanent memory. The data is downloaded and reviewed in order to determine functional history and maintenance.

Levels for the alarm can also be set to record incidents of excessive back pressure, excessive exhaust temperature, or other system failures. The Diesel Particulate Filter Monitor System provides outputs that allow diagnostic warning lights to be illuminated in order to alert the operator of system problems.
