Start By:

  1. Remove the fumes disposal filter.

  2. Remove the electronic control module.

  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Drain the Oil" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  3. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove oil filter (1).

  4. Cut cable straps (2) that secure harness assembly (3) and position harness assembly (3) out of the way. Cut cable straps (5) that secure harness assembly (6). Disconnect harness assembly (6).

  5. Remove bolts (4) and remove two bolts (8) (not shown). Remove electronic control module mounting bracket (7).

  6. Remove bolts (9). Do not remove the bolts that are circled. Remove filter base and oil cooler (10).

  7. Remove gasket (11).

  9. Remove gasket (13). Remove nuts (14) in order to remove cover (15).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install filter base and oil cooler (10) in the reverse order of removal.
