Alternator - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove right side engine enclosure.
- Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Replace" for installation and removal of belt (1) assembly.

- Disconnect ground strap (2) and cable assembly (3) .

- Disconnect cable assembly (4) .
- Remove bolts (5) and remove alternator (6) .
- Remove nut (7) and remove pulley (8) from alternator (6) .

Installation Procedure
- Install alternator (6) in the reverse order of removal.
- Position pulley (8) on alternator (6). Install nut (7). Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 100 ± 5 N·m (74 ± 4 lb ft).
