Start By:
- Remove the pump drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive (Front) - Remove".
- Position pump drive (1) onto suitable blocking. The weight of pump drive (1) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb).

- Remove all tube assemblies (2). Remove bolts (3) and manifold (4) .
- Remove bolts (5), retainer (6), O-ring seal (7), and yoke (8) .

- Remove bolts (9). Use two of bolts (9) as forcing bolts in order to remove bearing cage (10) .

- Remove bearing cage (10) and shims (12). Remove O-ring seal (11) from bearing cage (10).

- Use Tooling (A) in order to remove bushing (13) and the dowel.

- Remove bolts (15). Use two of bolts (15) as forcing bolts in order to remove bearing cage (16) .

- Remove bearing cage (16) and shims (18). Remove O-ring seals (17) from bearing cage (16) .

- Use Tooling (C) in order to remove lip seal (22) from bearing cage (21). Remove D-ring seal (23) from bearing cage (21). Remove spacer (23A) .
- Use Tooling (B) in order to remove bearing cup (25) from bearing cage (21) .

- Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to cover (26). The weight of cover (26) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

- Remove bolts (27), bolts (28), and cover (26) .
- Remove pump drive gear (29) .

- Use Tooling (E) in order to remove bearing cone (30) from pump drive gear (29). Repeat this Step for the bearing cone on the other side of pump drive gear (29) .

- Use Tooling (F) in order to remove retaining ring (31). Remove adapter (31) from pump drive gear (29) .

- Use two people in order to remove pump drive gear (33). The weight of pump drive gear (33) is approximately 29 kg (65 lb).
