Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the flexible exhaust pipe.

1. Remove ladder assembly (6) .

2. Remove bolts (5) and panel assembly (1) .

3. Remove bolts (3) and panel assembly (2) .

4. Disconnect harness assembly (7) and cut cable strap (8). Remove the bolts and panel assembly (4) .

5. Remove two bolts (9) .

6. Disconnect clip (11) and hose (12) .

7. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to support assembly (10). The weight of support assembly (10) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Remove support assembly (10) .

8. Disconnect hose assemblies (13) and harness assembly (14) .

9. Disconnect harness assemblies (15). Disconnect harness assemblies (15) from clean emissions module (16) .

10. Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (16). The weight of clean emissions module (16) is approximately 230 kg (510 lb).

11. Remove bolts (17), (18), and clean emissions module (16) .

12. Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (16). The weight of clean emissions module (16) is approximately 230 kg (510 lb). Support clean emissions module (16)

13. Remove bolts (23) and support assemblies (21) .

14. Remove bolts (24) and support assembly (22) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install clean emissions module (16) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten harness assemblies (15) to a torque of 1 N·m (9 lb in).

   2. Tighten harness assembly (14) to a torque of 4 N·m (35 lb in).

   3. Tighten bolts (3) and (5) to a torque of 15 ± 3 N·m (133 ± 27 lb in).
