Functionality for the Dual Tilt on the D9R and D9T{5104}

Usage:

D9T RJS
Track-Type Tractor:
D9R (S/N: WDM725-779)
D9T (S/N: RJS820-840)

Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

There have been three reports of 9T-1878 Washers (1) missing in the 109-8832 Tilt Cylinder Gp and 109-8833 Tilt Cylinder Gp on D9R and D9T tractors that are equipped with hydraulics with a dual tilt function. The effects of the missing washers can include drifting, slow operation, or complete loss of movement of the tilt function. All three reports are included in the serial number range that is specified in this TIB. If you experience similar issues on tractors that are in your territory, the tilt cylinder should be considered first before further troubleshooting. If you find cylinders with washers that are missing, please contact the Tier II Dealer Service Network (DSN) so that the issue can be documented.

Note: Tractors that are equipped with hydraulics with a single tilt function have cylinders that do not require the 9T-1878 Washers .
