3500 Series Engines
Tests indicate that engine valve lash and fuel injection timing adjustments will be more accurate and consistent if the engine crankshaft is rotated 360° in the direction of normal crankshaft rotation before any adjustments are made.
Make a note of the above information in the FUEL TIMING and the VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT procedures in the TESTING AND ADJUSTING sections of the Service Manuals.
