Description of Change: A new tee assembly and tube assembly for the hydraulic lines improves the service life of the lines. The old elbow assembly, the old tee assembly, and the old adapter assembly are being replaced with the new tee assembly. When the new tee assembly is installed a new tube assembly will also need to be installed.

Adaptable To: The new 297-7929 Tee As is a direct replacement for the following parts:

• 148-8378 Elbow As

• 150-4037 Tee As

• 148-8415 Reducer As

The new 297-1969 Tube As is a direct replacement for 236-4112 Tube As on LGP machines. The new 297-1968 Tube As is a direct replacement for 237-4436 Tube As on XL machines.

Note: Perform these steps in order to install the new tee assembly and new tube assembly.

1. Disconnect diagnostic hose (1) .

2. Remove elbow assembly (2), old tee assembly (3), and old tube assembly (4) .

3. Install new 297-7929 Tee As (5) to valve bank (6) .

Note: Use the 297-1968 Tube As when there are three valves in the valve bank. Use the 297-1969 Tube As when there are four valves in the valve bank.

4. Install new tube assembly (7) to new tee assembly (5) .

5. Reassemble diagnostic hose (1) to new tee assembly (5) .

The new tube assemblies and tee assembly are effective with these machines D6N (S/N: AKM2385-UP; ALY2957-UP). The new tube assemblies and tee assembly are adaptable to these machines D6N (S/N: AKM1-2384; ALY1-2956).
