Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the bulldozer lift cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Lift Cylinder (Bulldozer) - Remove".

1. Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to yoke (1). The weight of yoke (1) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb).

2. Remove bolts (2) and cover (3).

3. Install Tooling (B) in pin (4). Remove pin (4) .

4. Remove yoke (1) .

5. Remove lip seal (5) .

6. Remove sleeve bearings (6) .

1. Lower the temperature of sleeve bearings (6). Install bearings (6) in the radiator guard with the grooves in bearings (6) within Angles (X). The sleeve bearings should have these dimensions after the installation:

   1. Angle (X) should be a maximum of 15 degrees.

   2. The inner bearing diameter should be 89.22 ± 0.05 mm (3.513 ± 0.006 inch).

   3. The outer bearing diameter should be 114.30 ± 0.065 mm (4.500 ± 0.006 inch).

2. Install lip seal (5) into the radiator guard with the lip toward the outside.

3. Fill the bore in the radiator guard with Tooling (C) .

4. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to yoke (1). The weight of yoke (1) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb). Install yoke (1) .

5. Install pin (4) .

6. Install cover (3) and bolts (2). Remove Tooling (A) from yoke (1) .

End By: Install the bulldozer lift cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Lift Cylinder (Bulldozer) - Install".
