Air Shutoff - Disassemble

Usage:

C32 B2C

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the air shutoff. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Shutoff - Remove".


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  1. Move indicator (10) to the closed position.

  2. Remove solenoid (1) from the shutoff assembly.

  3. Remove the bolts from adapter (4) and remove the shutoff assembly.

  4. Compress the shutoff assembly and remove pin (6) and washer (3) from plunger (2).

  5. Remove retainer (5) and spring (7) from spindle (8).

  6. Remove O-ring seal (9) from spindle (8).

  7. Remove switch assembly (12) from the body of air shutoff (11).
