- For lifting objects, use properly rated cables and properly rated slings. Position the crane for a level machine lift.

- Spreader bar widths should be sufficient for preventing contact with the machine. The slings or cables should not exceed 15° from vertical when you lift the machine.
- Two front holes (1) and the hitch (2) are provided for tie-downs.
Install the tie-downs at several locations. Install the tie-downs for the bucket. Place chocks under the front wheels and under the rear wheels.
Check the appropriate laws that govern the weight of the load. Check the appropriate laws that govern the width of the load and the length of the load.
