Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to steering control valve (1). The weight of the steering control valve is approximately 45 kg (98 lb). Install steering control valve (1) and three bolts (10).

2. Install the O-ring seal to manifold (7).

3. Position manifold (7) and hose assembly (9), as shown. Connect hose assemblies (6) and (8).

4. Connect hose assemblies (2), (3), (4), and (5) to steering control valve (1).

5. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".

End By:

1. Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
