Pressurized air can cause personal injury. The air supply lines are pressurized to 830 kPa (120 psi). Purge the air from the system before performing any maintenance to the air system. |

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |

- Close air tank drain valves (1) on both sides of the scraper.

- Position brake actuator (4) to the machine. Install nuts (7). Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 176 ± 27 N·m (130 ± 20 lb ft). Install pin (6) .

- Connect hose assemblies (5) to brake actuator (4) .

- Remove Tooling (A) from brake actuator (4) .

- Install plug (3) (not shown) and cover (2) to brake actuator (4) .
