Remove two covers in order to gain access to the electronics bay that is located on the platform to the right of the cab.

Component location (8) Diagnostic service tool connector (ET) |
The diagnostic service tool connector (ET) is located in the cab next to the VIDS/VIMS keypad. An additional service tool connector is located on the platform. The connector is located to the right side of the cab under the platform door.
The Electrical System Schematic, Parts Manual and Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced should be used to locate electrical components and connectors.
The following information is a guide to reading the tables on the back of the Electrical System Schematic.
- The "Component Location" table uses white circles to mark the locations in the profile of the machine and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.
- The "Harness Connector Location" table uses white circles to mark the locations in the general view and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.
