Sakelar tiga posisi di bagian belakang alarm mundur akan mengatur volume alarm.
Alarm mundur disetel pada tingkat suara tertinggi sewaktu alat berat dikirim dari pabrik. Setelan harus tetap pada tingkat suara yang tinggi, kecuali lokasi kerja mengharuskan tingkat suara yang lebih rendah.
