Procedure to fill the Pivot Shaft with Oil

  1. Remove the plug (1) from both roller frames. The hose from the pivot shaft oil bottle must be connected to the cross-tube.

  1. Fill the pivot shaft bearing compartments with SAE 30W oil. The oil level is at the bottom of the filler hole.

  1. Fill the center oil compartment of the pivot shaft through the pivot shaft oil bottle. Fill with oil to capacity of compartment.

  1. Install plugs (1).

  1. Check the oil level in the pivot shaft oil bottle again. If necessary, add more oil.

  1. The oil level should be checked and maintained daily.
