Procedure to fill the Pivot Shaft with Oil
- Remove the plug (1) from both roller frames. The hose from the pivot shaft oil bottle must be connected to the cross-tube.
- Fill the pivot shaft bearing compartments with SAE 30W oil. The oil level is at the bottom of the filler hole.
- Fill the center oil compartment of the pivot shaft through the pivot shaft oil bottle. Fill with oil to capacity of compartment.
- Install plugs (1).
- Check the oil level in the pivot shaft oil bottle again. If necessary, add more oil.
- The oil level should be checked and maintained daily.
