994D Wheel Loader Automatic Lubrication System Caterpillar

Lubrication Injector Banks - Adjust

Usage:

994D 3TZ
The injector banks for the automatic lubrication system contain injectors that are adjustable. These adjustments match the lubrication requirements of each specific bearing. The following information shows the required setting of the adjusting screw for the injectors.

Note: The numbers that are shown in the following illustrations indicate the required number of clockwise turns of the adjusting screw after the adjusting screw is turned to the maximum setting for the lubricant flow. One 360 degree turn of the adjusting screw is equal to approximately 0.10 cc (.006 cubic inch) of lubricant.

For additional information on adjusting the injectors, refer to the following section in this Service Manual, RENR2515, "Lubrication Injectors - Adjust".
