Walk-Around Inspection

For maximum service life of the machine, make a thorough walk-around inspection. After you inspect the machine, mount the machine and start the engine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Starting".

Inspect the machine for the following items:

  • Loose bolts

  • Trash buildup

  • Oil leaks

  • Coolant leaks

  • Broken parts

  • Worn parts

Inspect the condition of the bulldozer and the condition of the hydraulic components.

Note: You may operate the machine on severe slopes. Refer to the footnote in the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Maintenance Interval Schedule" for all maintenance recommendations.
