(1) Rubber toric seals and all surfaces in contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly.
(2) End clearance ... .016 to .024 in.(0.41 to 0.61 mm)
Maximum permissible end clearance ... .050 in.(1.27 mm)
(3) Diameter of shaft ... 2.148 ± .004 in.(54.56 ± .10 mm)
Clearance between shaft and bearing ... .016 ± .001 in.(0.41 ± 0.03 mm)
Maximum permissible bearing clearance ... .040 in.(1.02 mm)
Maximum permissible bend in shaft ... .005 in.(0.13 mm)
(4) Torque for lubrication plug ... 125 ± 15 lb. ft.(170 ± 20 N·m)
(5) Torque for bolts that hold roller to track roller frame ... 225 ± 22 lb. ft.(305 ± 30 N·m)

Start at the front of the machine.
