Turbocharger - Remove

Usage:

G3306 07Y

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the boost control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Boost Control Valve - Remove".

  2. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Air Cleaner - Remove".

  1. Remove coupling (2) and the seals from turbocharger (1).

  2. Loosen clamp (5) and remove exhaust elbow (4). Remove the clamp from support (3).

  3. Remove the bolts and the nuts that hold support (3) to the exhaust manifold.

  4. Remove the support and coupling (6).

  5. Remove the seal rings from coupling (6).

  6. Remove oil supply tube (7) and the gasket.

  7. Remove bolts (9) and the washers. Disconnect oil drain line (8) from the turbocharger.

  8. Remove four nuts (10). Remove turbocharger (1) and the gasket from the exhaust manifold.

  9. Remove oil drain tube (8) and the O-ring seal.
