6V2009 Adapter Group Available To Test Scroll Fuel System On Fuel Injection Test Bench; Additional Parts Are Needed{0652}

Usage:


Direct Injection (3306) Engines In 235 Excavators And 235 Front Shovels

A scroll fuel system of a different design is used on the direct injection 3306 Engines in 235 Excavators and 235 Front Shovels. Because of the design, an adapter group and other tools are needed to test the scroll fuel system on a Caterpillar Fuel Injection Test Bench.

The 6V2009 Adapter Group, shown in the illustration, is available to permit this testing.

A supplement to Special Instruction, "Fuel Injection Test Bench Text," Form No. SEHS7465-01, will have the list of parts in the 6V2009 Adapter Group, the list of necessary parts not in the 6V2009 Adapter Group and the complete installation, test and removal procedure for the scroll fuel system.

NOTE: Caterpillar Fuel Injection Test Benches with Serial Numbers 1-1300 must have the 6V0124 Drive Coupling Kit installed before the scroll fuel system is tested. The heavier load from the fuel system will decrease the service life of the original coupling.

Fuel injection test benches with Serial Numbers 1301 and up, have the larger coupling.
